The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a Wind Advisory for portions of central, north central, southwest and west central Indiana including Clinton County until 10 a.m. Saturday.
West winds of 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 t0 50 mph expected. Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
Besides Clinton, other affected areas include Boone, Carroll, Clay, Daviess, Fountain, Greene, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Howard, Knox, Madison, Marion, Morgan, Owen, Parke, Putnam, Sullivan, Tippecanoe, Tipton, Vermillion, Vigo and Warren.
Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.
