Eric A. Sharlow, 64, passed away Monday morning, December 4, 2023, at The Waters of Lebanon. He was born in Laramie, Wyoming, on June 19, 1959, a son of the late Terrell L. Sharlow and Nora Lee (Fenner) Sharlow.
He attended Western Boone and later got his GED to attend truck driving school. Eric went on to become a successful motorcycle mechanic and a subject matter expert in that vocation.
Eric was a member of the Wesleyan Church in Lebanon. He enjoyed collecting anything old, especially coins and was an avid motorcyclist.
Eric is survived by his son, Jeff (Joy) Stiffler of Kailua, Hawaii; stepson Erik (Angie) Stiffler of Danville; two granddaughters, Zoe Stiffler, and Lily Stiffler; brother, Steven A. (Elsa) Sharlow of Campbellsville, Kentucky; and multiple nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Branden Stiffler; brother, Bobby Dean Sharlow; and his grandmother, Margaret Fenner.
Funeral Services are planned for 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 15, 2023, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana. There will be no public visitation. Eric will be laid to rest at Lincoln Memory Gardens, 6851 South Indianapolis Road, Whitestown, IN 46075.
