Frankfort Mayor Judy Sheets and other prominent leaders in Frankfort will be celebrating and supporting the Boy Scouts of America with a fundraising luncheon on Thursday, April 18.
The celebratory luncheon will feature guest speaker James “Jim” Siegfried with a special appearance by Mayor Judy Sheets. The event will be held at the Frankfort Neighborhood Center at 259 S. 3rd St. in Frankfort at 11:30 a.m.
The event will provide visitors with the unique opportunity to enjoy a meal in the company of fellow community members, hear from Sheets about the importance of the local Boy Scouts troops and their impact in the city as well as show support for the local programs and the influences that the programs have on the lives of the youth across Clinton County.
The Boy Scouts of America has been dedicated to shaping the minds of the country’s youth and providing opportunities to foster leadership skills that last a lifetime. The programs combine activities with mentorship and character development programs to further develop skills and showcase life lessons, such as teamwork, responsibility and outdoor skills, for the youth across the country.

All proceeds raised through the fundraising luncheon will be given directly to the Boy Scouts of America in Frankfort and Clinton County.
