The Michigantown Volunteer Fire Department honored 10 members for their work with the department throughout the past 50 years.
At the monthly meeting for the department in October, 10 members were honored with pins and cards from the Indiana Volunteer Fire Department for their time served as volunteer firefighters in Michigantown. The department announced that four members received a pin for dedicating 10 or more years to the organization, five members received a pin for dedicating 25 or more years to serving the community and one member receive a gold card for serving with the organization for over 50 years.
