The Farmers Bank will celebrate the official opening of its new location in Westfield at 360 N. Tricia Ln. tomorrow, Friday, Dec. 15.
Operating hours for the new location will span from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday. While the new location will open tomorrow, a grand opening celebration is planned for January.
The new location will be led by Steve Latour, the former Westfield Chamber of Commerce CEO, who will serve as the Financial Center Director at the location just South of the Meijer near Spring Mill Road in Westfield. Latour is expected to bring his expertise and understanding of commerce and the success of new businesses to The Farmers Bank to ensure that the company succeeds in the local business landscape.
Latour will be joined by Brittany Hall, who will serve as the Financial Center Assistant Director, and she is noted as a “seasoned financial veteran” due to her expertise in the banking industry throughout the past 20 years. Chris Cook, The Farmers Bank President and CEO, holds a special place for the new location in his heart as a Westfield resident.

The Farmers Bank has noted that through the leadership of Latour and Hall, the goal of the new location will be to establish a welcoming space for Westfield residents and businesses to conduct their financial transactions. Latour will spearhead the business development opportunities across Westfield and Carmel in addition to leading the team at the Westfield location. Hall will be tasked with monitoring and streamlining the daily operations, facilitating the opening of new accounts and engaging the community through community-based events. The Farmers Bank noted that “together, their aim is to exceed expectations of how a community bank can serve the needs of the Westfield community, financial and otherwise.”
The Farmers Bank was established in 1876 in Clinton County and has been developing its plans for the new location in Westfield as a result of the city’s ongoing reputation as the fastest-growing city in Indiana, which is an honor it has received for the last three years. The Farmers Bank staff expressed that the new location would provide the team with the opportunity to continue growing The Farmers Bank brand.

The Westfield Financial Center will also feature Smartflower, which will harness solar power to contribute energy for the facility’s operations, and The Farmers Bank is proposing the idea that the use of Smartflower technology may benefit the local schools through hands-on educational experiences.
