WILO Senior Fair Comes Your Way Starting at 9 A.M. Today at Community Life Center

The 34th Annual WILO Senior Fair will be held Wednesday, September 27, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Community Life Center, which is behind the First Church of the Nazarene at 2056 E. Wabash St. in Frankfort, or right across the street from Frankfort High School. All seniors age 50-and-over are invited to attend.

This year’s theme is “Autumn Picnic.” Those who can’t find parking in the lot by the Community Life Center and the First Church of the Nazarene can park across in the parking lot at Frankfort High School and a free shuttle will take you from the parking lot to the Senior Fair. The shuttle is being sponsored by BCS Boutique and Garden.

There will also be free T-shirts available sponsored by IU Health and free tote bags which is being sponsored by Senator Brian Buchanan.

Nine new vendors will be attending this year’s Fair. Also, some health screenings will be provided, including Blood Pressure by IU Health, Hearing Exam by Hearing Solutions of Indiana and Blood Pressure by Healthy Communities of Clinton County Coalition. Don’t forget Flu and Pneumonia Shots will be offered by the Clinton County Health Department. Medicare and insurance filing will be available.

There will be free admission with door prizes and fun. Seniors can visit over 35 booths from area businesses and other organizations offering products and services for seniors. There will be free breakfast, free lunch, free flu and pneumonia shots with insurance and Medicare filing available.

On-stage entertainment will be provided by The Chain Gang quartet.

Corporate sponsors are Encompass Credit Union and Center Township of Clinton County.

Breakfast sponsors are Goodwin Funeral Home and Archer Weston Funeral and Cremation Center along with Paradigm Health and Trilogy.

Lunch sponsors are Home National Bank, Day & Genda Funeral Home and Wesley Manor Senior Living. Food is being prepared by C&R Catering.
