The Witham Volunteer Organization is hosting its annual Fall Mum Sale on Thursday, September 21, and Friday, September 22. Amy Mitchell, Director of the Volunteer Organization said we had such a great response to the fundraiser last year, this year we will have more mums to choose from and will be selling them in two locations on the hospital campus – at the hospital main entrance and also at the North Pavilion, Entrance A (located on the North East corner of the hospital campus).
Mums will be sold at the main entrance on both Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and at the North Pavilion, Entrance A on Thursday only from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., (while supplies last). Choose from a beautiful assortment of 9” mums and kale in a variety of colors, for only $10.00 each and a limited quantity of 12” mums for only $26.00 each. (Cash, card and local check accepted).
We want to provide convenient and easy access for everyone, Mitchell said, stating if someone is coming in for a physician appointment in the North Pavilion A building, they can stop on their way out to purchase a mum and not have to walk over to the main hospital.
Mitchell further noted that all proceeds from the fundraiser benefit the Witham Volunteer Organization Scholarship Program and various fund the need initiatives for Witham. The Witham Volunteer Organization is thankful for the continued support of the community, Mitchell said and we are grateful that we can continue to give back to the students of Boone County and support our hospital in this way.
