The Indiana Department of Transportation has announced the continuation of daytime flagging operations on State Road 39 and U.S. 421 through Frankfort as part of an ADA project that began last construction season and will continue through the 2025 construction season.
According to the department, work will be ongoing through Frankfort along Jackson Street, including:
- Clinton Street/U.S. 421
- Washington Street/U.S.421
- Armstrong Street/S.R. 39
- South Street/S.R. 39
- Green Street/U.S.421
- Palmer Street/U.S.421
- Freeman Street/U.S. 421
- Paris Street/U.S. 421
- Barner Street/U.S. 421
- Morrison Street/U.S. 421
Work is expected to last until the end of the summer with additional work locations being added throughout the construction season. INDOT encourages drivers to use caution in and around all work zones and remain aware of several potential flagging areas with this project.
