The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a traffic shift starting on or after Wednesday, June 14 for Phase Two of the intersection improvement project on State Road 28 in Frankfort. This is at the intersection of County Road 200 W.
The outside lane will now be closed in each direction. The inside lane will remain open, separated by drums and barrier walls. The new, inside left turn lanes will also now be open to traffic. Please continue to use caution throughout this area. The restrictions are expected to last through mid-July, weather permitting.
This contract was awarded to E & B Paving, LLC for over $2.4 million. The entire contract is expected to be completed in October of 2023, weather permitting.
