Kirk’s Crossing Festival Returns June 25-28 with Four Days of Family Fun

The annual Kirk’s Crossing Festival will return to Kirklin from June 25-28, offering four days of entertainment, food, games, live music, contests, and community activities for residents and visitors of all ages.

The festival kicks off Thursday, June 25, with the KVFD Dan’s Fish Fry and a Versiti Blood Drive at the Kirklin Library from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Family Fun Night takes center stage on Friday, June 26, featuring pony rides, a petting zoo, barrel train rides, pickleball, door prizes, a foam party, live music by John Stevens Jr., and a free movie in the park at dusk. Food vendors, booth vendors, face painting, and children’s games will be available throughout the evening.

Saturday’s schedule is packed with events beginning with a community breakfast hosted by the American Legion. Activities include the Kirk’s Crossing 5K Run, pickleball tournament, car show, parade, animal show, inflatables, bingo, dance party, corn hole competitions, pie and pizza eating contests, door prizes, and live entertainment throughout the day.

The festival parade will step off at noon on Main Street, with float awards presented afterward. The evening will conclude with music from Penthouse Suites Band and a community beer garden.

The festival wraps up Sunday, June 28, with a performance by Stones Crossing, a free community lunch, and the annual waterball tournament.

Festival organizers are encouraging participants to submit registration forms as soon as possible for several popular events. Early registration is recommended for the Kirk’s Crossing 5K Run to guarantee a commemorative T-shirt, the Cornhole Tournament to secure a team spot, and the Kiddie King and Queen Contest, which includes treats and prizes for all participants.

Registration forms are available at Bookers, Farmers Bank, the Kirklin Library, Rise and Brew Coffee Shop, American Legion Post 310, and the Kirklin Post Office. Forms can also be requested by emailing tonialeli@hotmail.com.

New this year, the Clinton County Humane Society will be participating in the festival and will be on-site at the park with information about its programs and animals available for adoption. Festival attendees will have an opportunity to meet adoptable dogs and cats and learn more about supporting the organization.

In addition, the festival committee is partnering with the humane society to collect much-needed supplies through June 28. Community members can purchase and donate requested items at the Kirklin Dollar General, where a collection cart has been set up with a list of needed supplies.
