Charlie Thompson led three players in double figures with 16 points to lead Rossville to a 50-35 non-conference boys’ basketball victory over North White Saturday night in Rossville.
Caden Wilson also reached double figures with 15 points and Brayden Thiele-Hahn was next with 12. Brody Skinner led the Hornets with eight rebounds and Thompson added seven boards. Thompson and Cooper Dunn led the team in assists with three each.
Rossville jumped out to a 10-point lead after a quarter and stayed comfortably ahead the remainder of the game.
On the road Friday night, the Hornets jumped out to a 20-9 lead after one quarter and rolled to a 62-39 victory over Tri-County.
Wilson led Rossville with 24 points. Thompson tallied 14 and Thiele-Hahn added 13. Wilson grabbed a team-high nine rebounds while Thompson and Dunn both had a team-high four assists.
Clinton Central Boys Fall
Madison-Grant outscored Clinton Central 23-6 in the third quarter on its way to a 78-63 non-conference victory over the Bulldogs Saturday night.
Central grabbed a three-point lead after one quarter and still led 34-32 at intermission.
Lane Davis led Central with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Creed Mennen also reached double figures with 14 points, Cole Davison added 10 and Luke Davison had nine.
Friday night at Michigantown, Fountain Central jumped out to a 22-point halftime lead and rolled to a 76-46 victory.
Luke Davison and Lane Davis led Central with 12 points each. Nate Wells added six.
