Lafayette Man Arrested for Possession of CSAM Following Investigation

On Thursday, October 16, 2025, detectives from the Indiana State Police Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, along with troopers from the Indiana State Police Lafayette Post, arrested a 60-year-old man from Lafayette, Indiana, on a felony charge for possession of child sex abuse material (CSAM).

The investigation began in May 2025 regarding an individual distributing/possessing CSAM. The Tippecanoe County Prosecutor’s Office issued a search warrant for the residence of Donald Baker Jr, 60, in Lafayette, IN. During the execution of the search warrant, multiple electronic devices were seized, at least one of these devices contained CSAM.

On October 16, 2025, officers took Baker Jr into custody without incident. He was transported to and remanded at the Tippecanoe County Jail.

– Possession of Child Sex Abuse Material – Level 4 Felony (1 count)
